The Formstack Salesforce App provides a number of ways to create beautiful documents. Please review the breakdown of each method in the following article.
This article contains some quick-start links to describe how you can use the Formstack Documents product with Salesforce.
Once your form submissions or manual entry put data into Salesforce successfully, you can use a number of other methods to generate and deliver documents that may be better for your use case.
Here are some examples of when you may want to consider using a more advanced approach to generate documents:
- If you need to merge data into your document that is not directly in your form submission but is in a related record that is not on your form. You can also set up custom triggering logic. See process builder guide and child object guide.
- Create multiple documents from multiple related Salesforce objects. See data routing guide.
- Trigger document merges using a button click on a record detail page or report. See standard object button guide or custom object button guide.
