Installing the Formstack Salesforce App

Welcome to the Formstack Salesforce App! This article will guide you through the process of installing our app into your Salesforce instance. For starters, you'll first want to navigate to our AppExchange listing. Once you are here, you'll want to click the green Get It Now button.

 

 

Logging into the AppExchange

 

If you haven't already created a Salesforce Trailblazer account please use this link to do that now.  If you are not already logged into, you'll want to login to the AppExchange. Click the blue Log In button.  It's important to remember that even though you may be installing our app in a Sandbox, you'll want to login using you Production credentials.

 

 

Once you have logged in, you'll be taken back to the app listing. Again, click on the green Get it Now button to install the app.

 

 

Choosing the Environment Type

 

Next, you'll be asked if you want to install the app in Production or Sandbox. Choose the appropriate environment by clicking the blue button.

 

Confirming Installation Details

 

With this, you'll want to confirm that you agree to our Terms and Conditions with installing the app. In order to do this, click the checkbox to the left of the text. If it is hard to see or you are unable to click the checkbox, try using a different browser. Click Confirm and Install when you are finished.

 

 

Logging into the Environment

 

Depending on what environment you selected, you'll want to enter the username and password for that particular environment. Click Log In when finished.

 

Choosing the Profiles to Install the App

 

Next, you'll want to choose which profiles you'd like to install the app for. You can choose between

  • Admins Only
  • All Users
  • Install for Specific Profiles

 

This will be up to you. If you have any questions, ask your Salesforce Administrator or reach out to our Support channel for clarification.

 

Approve Third Party Access

 

Click the checkbox to grant us access and click Continue.  If it is hard to see or you are unable to click the checkbox, try using a different browser.

 

 

Waiting for the Installation to Finish

 

Lastly, you'll just need to wait as the pack installs! If the package says it is taking too long, you'll receive an email once the installation is finished. Now you can log in to Salesforce and start building forms!
