Reset and Access Your Security Token

In some cases, when using the Formstack application (e.g. during form migration), you will be asked to provide your Salesforce security token. If you do not know your security token, you can easily reset it and generate a new one. Be advised, that if you are using your current security token elsewhere, you will have to update it with the new one you will generate. Here is a quick and easy way to reset and access your security token.

Important: When entering your security token, be sure to only enter the security token, not your password concatenated with your security token.


In Salesforce Lightning Experience

  1. In the top right corner of your page, click on your profile image
  2. In the menu that pops up underneath your name, click Settings
  3. In the left hand menu, under the My Personal Information tab, click on Reset My Security Token
  4. Click Reset Security Token
  5. Your security token will be emailed to you shortly

In Salesforce Classic Experience

  1. In the top right corner of your page, click on your name
  2. In the menu that pops up underneath your name, click on My Settings
  3. In the left hand menu, click the Personal tab
  4. Click Reset My Security Token
  5. Your security token will be emailed to you shortly
